An AU–EU Youth Exchange for Young Refugee & Migrant Artivists (France & Uganda)

OPEN CALL OVERVIEW

—————
Are you a young artist, creative, or artivist aged 18-35 with a refugee or migrant background? Do you believe the arts can contribute to an advocacy narrative focused on refugee rights and migration policies?

Artivism Without Borders is looking for young participants based in Uganda and Île-de-France, France, to join an exciting AU–EU co-creative project.

The project brings together young artists, creatives, and artivists in a joint participatory arts process, creating opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences across continents. Participants will collaborate as equal partners to co-create artistic works that challenge stereotypes and promote more inclusive narratives around migration, identity, belonging, and social inclusion.

From September 2026 to May 2027, participants will engage in an ongoing process of co-creation through Artivism Labs, which combines workshops, peer learning, artistic collaboration, and public showcases.
